The Tulane football team (4-2, 2-0 AAC) went on the road and defeated UAB (1-4, 0-2 AAC) by a 71-20 score on Saturday at Protective Stadium. The point total set a new school record for an AAC game and it was the largest margin of victory for Tulane in a conference game since 1939.

The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced today that Coach Buddy Teevens, who headed the football programs at Tulane along with Dartmouth, Stanford and Maine, will be posthumously honored as the 2024 recipient of the NFF Outstanding Contribution to Amateur Football Award. He will officially be recognized Dec. 10 during the 66th NFF Annual Awards Dinner Presented by Las Vegas at the Bellagio Resort & Casino.
